Tellus has been ruled by gods since the beginning of times. The first Guardians of Tellus lost their way and are now fighting each other for dominance over the planet. They seeded civilizations and created their own realms inside. This Realms aka nations, have thier own armies and perspectives and are playing the conquest game, with real beings in Tellus. Manipulating them and brainwashing them.
